A couple of corrections

A couple of cast corrections to the listing for Series Three.

Neither Nigel Williams (François) nor Paul Shelley (Major Nick Bradley) appeared in Series Three. François was Natalie's boyfriend, who was shot dead in Series Two when he was betrayed to the Germans by Max. Major Bradley was an RAF officer who appeared in Series Two but was killed in the episode 'Lucky Piece'.

Also, a small correction to the "Summary" for Series One. In the final episode of that series, the Hitler Youth expedition to the naval base at St Nazaire was to view the submarine pens, not to meet Hitler.

And in the "Summary" for Series Two, it isn't really correct to say that Lisa (code named Yvette) was killed by a British air raid. The episode does not in fact establish that. It was a daylight raid on the docks, and daylight operations were usually conducted by the US Air Force. The RAF normally conducted operations only at night.

Thanks so much for those corrections, which have been made now. I've also added a little information at the end of the section on the music. I was lucky enough to be in the audience for the first performance of Angela Richards' show, and spoke with Juliet Hammond-Hill afterwards.

Actually, Paul Shelley does appear in Series Three as Major Bradley. He turns up in the sixth episode, "Prisoner".

I was a bit disappointed by this as I, too, had seen the Series Two episode "Lucky Piece", in which it seemed quite clear he's killed in a German ambush at the end of the episode.

Major Bradley was in a number of the Series Three episodes and was eventually shot in the story entitled Sounf of Thunder. A close look at the end of "Lucky Piece" shows that Bradley in fact was the passenger in the rear seat of the Lysander behind the Polish engineer who he had rescued. Those killed in the incident were members of the Resistance landing field team. Consequently, Bradley was not returning from the dead when he subsequently reappeared.

Nearing 80 years of age I am surprised at how critical these remarks have become. I must presume you are all too young to have actually experienced the events so accurately portrayed in the series? Remember they are only 'actors' and what has happened since is not revelant! I am an avid fan of Jan Francis (for example)and how remarkable she is no matter what part she plays!I look foward to further nes in 2008?

Strange, as Bradley did appear to lie very still in Lucky Piece when I saw it on UKTV just before Christmas. And yet he does reappear, as I recall him wasting a fake communist who B rumbles by discovering he doesn't know Stalin's real name. I'm relying on a 30 year old memory here, though!

At the end of "Lucky Piece" Bradley can be seen at the back seat of the Lysander (towards the edge of the tv screen). The dead resistance member was Dominique. Unfortunately Bradley took a wrong turning in the middle of the third series and was machinegunned which was sad for me because he was my favorite character; charismatic but ruthless, arrogant but protective - at least to Natalie.
