I discovered the Georgette Heyer books when I was about 14 or so and they are often the type of books along with Dorothy L Sayers that I will turn to when I wnat to read something for comfort, not a book I need to exopend a deal of energy understanding, but books that bear rereading as each time you can discover new innuendos, phrases etc that will charm you, and they take you away from 21century blues.

A well written entry, thank you very much. I recently bought a biography about her which was very interesting, discovering her as a person.
