what is the fascination with people dipping their toast into their tea? never really understood that? anyone care to enlighten me?

not a clue to be honest... perhaps it sets off a minor chemical reaction in the mouth between the flavourings in the tea leaves and the starch in the toasted bread. then again, maybe not. i've gone for the lazy student researcher aproach and got you some pretty little links
