...whiel a search for Blinit gave several results on Finnish sites...

By the way, have you tried them? I like the ones without sugar, topped with Smetana (hmmm... don't know how to describe that) or crème fraiche, finely chopped red onion and a spoonful of whitefish roe on top - yummie!
Good thing it's almost lunch time for me...
