i love thursday

For me the longing anticipation for the fun activities of the weekend is more pleasurable than the actual events.

The moment of ecstacy is in not the doing of the deed, or its consequences, but the wonderful, glorious anticipation of it taking place. By this logic, thursday is the best day smiley

I like thursdays... but that is probably because I have Fridays off, so for me Thursday is just early weekend. And, as most other people, I really like weekends.smiley

I myself have actually come to enjoy Thursdays. There is something so very odd about them, but it's not always a bad thing. It's sort of the wildcard of the week. I also have three out of five periods free at school on Thursdays...

I don't get free periods, but I do get three hours of media in the morning and two hours of computing in the afternoon...so I love Thursdays too!
I guess my odd day would be Monday (I think that's most people's 'bloody awful' rather than odd day) or Wednesday.

Thursdays are kind of a party time in the USA. Lots of people get paychecks then, so banks and shops stay open late. People stay out at bars late too, because (besides just being paid) they figure they can beat the Friday crowds by one night. The day after, they can survive Friday with a hangover better than any other workday.

At my school Wednesday is a big party night so Thursday is usually spent hungover, and then you just have Friday classes to deal with before the weekend.
