Posted Sep 1, 2009 by Reefgirl Yes row 2 is right, when you say you run out of stitches, how many do you have left when you 'run out'?

Posted Sep 3, 2009 by jenmanj I found that I had 10 stiches on the left hand needle when i turned at end of row 1, porceeded to do rows 2 and 3 butthe 10 stiches remained untouched, I will have another go this weekend, but I know I am going wrong somewhere. I could see how one side of he heel shaping was taking place but the 10 stiches did not get touched and it seems to me that the corresponding shaping should be with these stiches.
I am sure I am missing something here.

Posted Sep 5, 2009 by Reefgirl That's what I like to hear. The thought of turning a heel terrified me until I got hold if it and just followed the pattern.
A friend of mine says knitting socks 'Toe Up' is easier but I've never tried it
