I push the top two corners of the duvet into the top two corners of the duvet, pull down on each side, give it a shake from those corners down, using gravity, then push the other corners in and give it one more shake. I swear that only takes a minute with practice, too!

 Posted Jul 17, 2002 by paddy i use the very same technique, havent got much choice, bedroom is small and I have no stairs, this way it can be done in well under a minute even with a double.
