You do need to practise it. I did my son's duvet in about 10 seconds last week. But I have been doing it this way for about 7 years.

It was one that was open all the way across at the bottom, if that makes you feel better. Just pick it up, and gravity does the rest.
And I did have a witness btw, in case anyone is doubtful.

I know it can be done, I'm very jealous....! I always get tangled up, but my excuse is I'm just wee so people will do it for me; well, always works with my mum!

old old entry, but thought I'd add... The time depends ion whether you have poppers (easy) buttons (time consuming) or hidden buttons (on a fold that puts them inside the cover) which is hard, annoying and take a couple of minutes by itself!

This entry doesn't include the fastenings. My excuse is that it's called 'fitting' not 'fastening'.
I can still do the fastenings (even the inside out buttons) in less than 60 seconds, but it took a lot of practice to do that.
