Some of them are really rather good. Other's just sound like a seal. Or a drunk seal biggrin .

Human kind still hopes of real verbal contact with animals.
I fear, that it will never happen,
but wouldn't it be great if once they could share there thinking with us.

I agree, that would be very interesting indeed, but I don't think Hoover could actually communicate with language. He simply repeated the sounds people made. We stand a greater chance of communicating directly with apes. I seem to remember seeing a TV programme where a chimp had been given a board of pictures which she could point to in order to 'say' various things, such as inviting someone into her enclosure to play.
