Posted Apr 28, 2003 by Researcher 226343 When you ask for Cider in Algeria you will not get a drink made from apples, neither will there be any alcohol in it. Yuo will get a drink. If you get the bottle it will have Saida in latin and/or Arabic writing. The latin is for the French speaking populace. The Arabic is for the arabic speakers. Saida is pronounced like Cider. It is actually a town with a spring of water.
