Fans of J R R Tolkien, author of The Hobbit, can visit his grave at
Oxford's Wolvercote Cemetery, details of which appear in The Tolkien Society's local guide.

Tolkien's grave

Yup I've been there and it's always been a very important moment in my life, especially with other members of the Tolkien Society reading out one of his poems in Elvish as we stood around the grave.

Meeting Priscilla Tolkien in the same week is also a great memory for me.
