"I'm assuming most people on here have heard what the DT's final line as the Doctor is,"

I don't think I have ... the spoilers for specials thread would be an appropriate place for it if anyone wishes to reveal ...

It's a bit of a misleading thing this 'last word as the Dr' as it's not the last thing he says before he regenerates, it's the last sentence he says while recording his last ever scene as the Dr...which is actually in The Sarah Jane Adventures which he filmed after he had finished the Dr Who series filming.

So knowing what it is is not a spoiler and will not mess things up.

It was a very 'Tennant Dr' line to go out on though.

Yeah, I was confused my that. And it wasn't even his last scene in the SJA.

And actually, it reminds me of the final scene to be shot by Billie Piper in S2, which was the penultimate scene in The Satan Pit.

Ida Scott "Doctor - you two: who are you?"

The Doctor "The stuff of legends."

I remember in the commentaries how BP and DT were saying how emotional they both were and how appropriate the scene was

I found this on msn, does anyone know what it is all about?

http://player.uk.msn.com/sci-fi/doctor-who?GT1=66752

I know I can watch the episodes but it looks like a regular thing so has it been going on long or is it new? And why is it on msn? I'm not sure I've asked the questions I wanted answers to but the connection with BBC Worldwide makes me think that it is not UK exclusive so even if it's just a useful link for researchers I'll be smiley

Oh... I thought it was the Doctor's last line before regeneration. See, that's what I get for trying not to read the whole article for fear of spoilers, I'll just get it wrong instead. But that does leave open what his actual last line is, and now I won't be looking for it when the time comes, which is a plus. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

Just tried that link. Am now watching the Web Planet (which I could have watched already from my collection but that 's beside the point). They seem to be updating new episodes twice a week. Day of the triffids is on there too. (book marks link for future reference).

Episode 1 of Web Planet contains a 'video oops' where the theme tune starts playing over the top of Hartnell speaking, then cuts out again (just after the story starts).

First time I've seen the MSN player, not bad for a first effort but would have been better if the video pumped a full screen picture to my TV letting me carry on using the computer at the same time (like MPC player or VLC). Oh, and the advert break in the middle of the show (yes, middle) is BLOODY ANNOYING!
Still, at least it doesn't shunt the entire picture into the top left of the TV screen like the BBC iPlayer does whistle

Tut tut, HI, I would have thought you'd have better knowledge of Dr Who lore!!!

I was talking about the Dr Who Rani not the Sarah Jane one...although the 'Sarah Jane Rani' is 18years...so would 'Get yer coat actress who plays Rani in the Sarah Jane Adventures you've pulled'.

'No, thanks,' she replies,'I don't date anyone over 600.'

Bit strange having it on a Sunday evening ... if it's too scary that'll leave a generation of children screwed up for school on Monday morning ...
