It may be one researchers opinion that Robert Heinlein was
the greatest SF Author of the Twentieth Century but it is an opinion
I do not share. I have been reading science fiction for 40 years, and while Heinlein is in the top five I would class him as No greater
than Arthur C Clark or Isaac Asimov. Then there is the whole other issue as to whether Douglas Adams wrote SF or something else. My personal Favorite is Robert Silverburg but I think Clark was
greater than either silverburg or Heinlein.
