 Posted Oct 17, 2001 by WeS The age of the universe is not known accurately. The estimate for the age of the universe is between 10 and 20 billion years, and the books I looked in said the best guess is around 12 billion years old. It could be slightly older or younger.

 Posted Oct 18, 2001 by Shagbark When I was a freshman in college, the best guess for the number of moons around Jupitar was 12. If you said anything else you were marked wrong. Books get out of date. Best guesses change.

 Posted Oct 27, 2001 by WeS I checked up from more recent sources (at NASA), and they say the universe is about 14 billion years old. I've asked the editor to correct that.
