The Mona Lisa's gone a bit Dali-esque as well... Something's stripped all the nice monospaced Courier fonts out of the article.

They may have used a stylesheet definition which has been "forgotten" when the skins were updated...?

The b'ger picture was always the devil with the lawyer comment - it was actually in his reply to me when I asked him for permission to use his art what with all the copyright stuff in the BBC small print and I decided to use it. winkeye

The fixed width font seems fine to me on IE from here.

I'm on Mozilla, and it's been playing up a little... I'll have a look with a different browser and get back to you. erm

...also "squished" in Netscape 7.0 PR1.

The Netscape browsers and Mozilla seem to default to "Lucida Console" as the default "fixed-width" font, and it's not really fixed-width. If I override it with Courier New, things look much better...

Nope, I was wrong. The <PRE> tag still looks wrong in all the Netscape/Mozilla variants. sadface

Pages whose stylesheet calls for "Monospace" are fine, though... smiley (Hint, hint...)
