Dr. Spooner would have sympathised with a girl that a friend of mine went to school with, called 'Carey Hunt'. She had some VERY unpoleasant things said to her.

hehe. poor girl.
what no-one seems to have considered here are people who actually want humorous or unusual names once they've got past the childhood 'must be normal' stage. is it sods law that anyone called Astra or Starla will wish for a normal name whereas Jane and Susan will wish they'd been named something more unusual to match their eccentric nature?
