The other key indicator of someone becoming slightly worse for wear, is the need to raise their voice above that normally accepted in civilised society. The said drunk person will gradually become more profoundly deaf with the more they drinking meaning they need to shout in order for theirfriends who are sitting no more than 2 foot awwayto be ableto hear them.
