That only means "town of the ugly people" *. Grimsby has (albeit almost imperceptably) picked up it recent years. I hope for you that Goole does the same.
* actually, that definition IS still true

Hey, at least in Grimsby people win the Lottery! lol...well..Goole does have one millionaire lottery winner.
