i don't think so. try about 2 millenia plus ago. and it seems to me that the tao has had a more pronounced rational input into hinduism and buddhism than the other way around. when western buddhists give rational accounts of their belief system, invariably they stress those elements taken from taoism, and ignore the stranger mystical elements of buddhism proper.
