I once saw a pink flamingo on a desolate stretch of the East Coast of England, seagulls, wading birds, grey skies, greyer seas and a gloriously misplaced large pink tropical bird.

I wish I had a hole in my pocket so I could stick it on a wall and crawl through to Elsewhere.

Rumour has it that h2g2 are planing to update the house rules. As well as using UK spellings, all instances of "my two cents" will be replaced by "my two pence" by the moderators. This will have the side effect of slightly increasing the perceived value of such comments, but "my 1.5p" was judged to unweildy to use. Also on the drawing board are plans to replace all usages of the term "citizen" by "subject", and all usages of the term "Democracy" by "Monarchy". Stocks in Mark Moxon's beard rose 15p when the news leaked.

Mollusks? They're part of the Phlegm family, right? You're so weird, you probably think this song is about you.
