Any Ltd Ed Owners here?

First off I'm glad to see the greatest car in british motoring history has a fan following here! *YaY* I'm a Mini-nut myself, love 'em to bits I'd sooner die than let anyone damage mine and woe betide the person who suggests selling him! I'll bite their legs off!

Anyone here got anything other than a standard Mini? Like 7's, Elfs, Hornets, Coopers, Tahiti's, Italian Jobs, Mayfairs etc....If so have you done any mini-meets with them or got any tales to share about them?

I'm probably the only person in the world who will be proud to say they have a black Quant/Designer in original condition aren't I winkeye He's nicknamed Monty and I'm doing a full restoration on him with a few very minor tweaks - custom dash to replace the one that isn't there winkeye , alarm/immobiliser, new stereo & unleaded conversion. Picked him up for £250 from a local driveway 2yrs ago and wouldn't part with him for the world. *Hugs Monty*

Ye, i'm 15 and the proud owner of a Red Rover Mini Italian Job SE/LE. I've replaced the cream grill, black bumper, door handles with chrome articles and the cream wheels with black ones. I have also added alloy door furniture. It has only had 20,000 miles from new, its a real steal! It's like factory condition. It is a late model so has internal bonnet release. BUT BEST OF ALL, 100% NO GERMAN SHITE!!!!!

Some catalog pages of it:

My dad also has a 1989 Austin Mini 30 with half leather interior which I am learning to drive in and he also has a German Spec 1999 Rover Mini.
