But dead bosses can't sign your paychecks. You need them to stay alive for that. winkeye

Yes, it's definitely true that a dead boss can't do much of anything one way or the other.

Gu Paul, Have you not yet gone to bed?

I have just written to shea and shared all my news with her. It is freezing cold here, I have only got one heater on. I cannot get at the switches of the other ones. !! so am going to have to go back to my reclining couch in order to warm myself. Have just made myself a cup of coffee.

Go well,

Christiane,

oh dear, christiane, you must have been up very late - or very early

i hope it wasn't the low temperatures that kept you from sleeping

i just checked two of my heaters again this afternoon. they don't seem to w*rk either of them, but the third one does, so i guess it is not a fuse problem

guess i'll have to buy two new ones

in the meantime i turned op the third because by now it is getting both cold and damp in my private quarters

go well

I haven't felt particularly chilly yet this season, but January is usually an ordeal. brr

Grey, cold and damp is what I would prefer, when the alternative is freezing my bleep off. <bruised.

since it isn't warm anyway i prefer a to have the sun shining from a clear blue sky on a countryside covered in snow smiley

if this means frost i can live with that, but these dulls grey months are depressing cry

Ah dear Pierce the pirate

So nice to have you back again. I have a dear friend who helps me and when the changeover came I lost everyone - practically. Now you are back.

Thank you my dear friend who shall be nameless but is a knight in shining armour to me.!!!!

I agree with your about grey, horrid days. They really are depressing.

go well,

Christiane

A long string of grey days can really get me down. One or two once in a while isn't too bad.

Hi Pau; H.

Well it is 3.30 a.m. and I have worken kp with, of all things toothache. !! Anyway,I have taken a tablet, and the pain has gone so I thought I would come and see who is on the net.!

I have got my lovely Australian granddaughter who is a mechanical engineer and who works for a firm which is involved in dealing with wind farms etc. spending tonight with me. It is so good. ~We went to visit K. yesterday. My grandson also came out. I am so fortunate with my grandchildren.

I agree with you about the long dark afternoons. It really is sad-making. It would be wonderful to just be able to buzz out to South Africa to the sun. I do find that for the first time I am missing it.

Go well, dear friend,

Christiane

Wind farms are a fantastic opportunity.
