<Yo walks up wearing his usual black military jump suit with a trench coat over it and combat boots, he has parked his silver and black '69 Corvette a ways off...>

Could you please direct me to where I could plant this seedling oak in memory of DNA? I'd like to if it wouldn't offset the harmony of the memorial garden...

I have converted this entire field in which we are standing into The Douglas Adams Memorial Garden. Plant your tree where ever you feel it deserves to be.

<Yo walks off alittle ways and finds a medium sized pond, with a few cattales growing out of it on one side, a small stream feeds the pond, keeping the water fresh, cool and clear. On a little rise next to the bank Yo plants the little sapling, he casts a spell of protection on it and a blue arua forms around it>

<finishes his speach and decides that he doesn't know enough magic to make the tree grow faster, besides, magic induced growth only hurts living beings anyway......walks back up to George>

I shall have to be going soon, would you like me to tell others of this place, or perhaps you would like to keep it secluded... <looks back at the tree>...take good care of it for me please? I'll be in and out but I don't think I'll be able to give it the attention it needs. The spell is one of the few I know not related to fire (I am the keeper of fire), and I know precious few of those too...

Very nice, very ummm solemn.

Can I plant an "Australian Lager" tree, guaranteed to bud pints of aussie lager every year!

I don't see why not! How about over there by those naturally-forming barstools?

I think I shall plant some of these, if I may... I don't know what they are, but they rather look like upside-down pansies, and they're known to sing on a good evening.

Besides, they keep the rabid marmots away..

I think what this Garden will need, in due time, is a Tea tree across the path from a No Tea tree. I will go in search of one.

Shall I put a link to this garden on my space, when I finally learn GuideML? I'm getting better.. I can use smileys now...

Sure. If you were wondering, this was originally for DNA, but then my Grandfather (and namesake) passed on and I dedicated it to him.

DNA would appreciate the concept of an electric field. Who knows, in a few years we may have a small pylon...

So, is it two dedications, or did the one dedication replace the other?

I would think the garden could share dedications.... Especially for some of the weird things planted here.

*looks over at fresh earth over batteries* So, do you actually water these, or......
