Posted Apr 6, 2001 by Administrator-General (5+0+9)*3+0 Saint Christopher was once considered to be the patron saint of all travellers, and by extension automobiles, and by extension race cars, and by extension the town of Speedway, Indiana, USA. The Catholic Church officially considers Saint Christopher to be fictional, but the town of Speedway still has a church named after him.
