Can I spit if a fly goes in my mouth?

Can I spit if a fly goes in my mouth? Because I might choke on it otherwise, and have to sue you for pain and suffering.

You could try opening your mouth, and letting it drool out instead of spitting.
Still pretty disgusting though.

I beleive the new European Politically Correct View runs as followed.
12.b.i
First, fly must enter complete and dated mouth entry forms.
12.b.ii
The fly may be removed by government agencies prior to said person of no particular age, colour, sex or star sign intervention if above forms are not correct.
12.b.iii
Removal by person of no particular age, colour, sex or star sign is an offence unless the existance of a particular age, colour, sex or star sign causes goverment agencies unseen problems and legal harrasment in doing so.
12.b.iv
The person of no particular age, colour, sex or star sign may ask for permission to remove fly by non-spitting means assuming the ability to spit is not a disability of said person in which case we have no right to tell you what you can and cannot do.
12.b.v
Fly removal forms are available from the Home Office in Belarus.
Requests will be processed within 48 hours, assuming normal workload of workers which of course have no particular age, colour, sex or star sign
12.b.vi
When fly removal form has been processed by a licensed attourney, said person may remove fly with licensed fly removal spoon [patent124y4964357]. If you do not have a spoon, one will be provided for you.
12.b.vii
You will be sent medical bills for grievous bodily harm of fly.

What about the 1997 ammendment 12biiA) part 4 section 2.
If said fly is distantly related to Neville the fruit fly's grandmother Edith (on his mothers side) Or has a prior history (including at least one conviction) of fly-entering-mouth aggressive behavioural tendencies, without a signed report of confirmation from a qualified Psychiatrist exempting responsibility on psychological grounds. Then all Fly related medical bills forwarded to others than the fly are voided or to be payed by the state? (or was that the 1995 fly edibility issues bill amendment????)

It is my personal belief that you are perfectly capable of the above mentioned act(unless it is a very huge fly and blocks your mouth completly). Whether it is allowed or not is another matter. However from personal experiance, I can state that Blue bottles taste like srawberry, so there is no reason for any spitting. So there tongueout

I didn't even realise I was a researcher untill I tried my universal password...

Have you considered not choking on it?

You could be environmentally friendly and let it live there for a while. Be pleased another living creature loves you!

Could you not just move to somewhere less fly-ridden? Anyway, they say there's good eating on many insects. Does that include flies and if so does anyone know if the calorific content is less than the gonna-poison-you content?

I personally would rather suspect that the calorific content of a fly is minimal to say the least. The real question here, I would immagine, is would one want to allow a fly to house itself in ones' mouth, without the proper paperwork and without knowing it's place of origin. In these highly volatile times, all creatures should be made aware of the need for proper screening and beaurocratic procedure. After all, I'm sure we all know what happened to the old lady who swallowed a fly...a barage of undesirables followed.
