Posted Dec 12, 2001 by PeterM "Just this guy" did a very comprehensive entry on Leonard Cheshire - the man - who, I think, changed the face of the 20th Century. What are his chances of getting nominated for one of the greatest ever Britons??

Posted Dec 14, 2001 by PeterM Sadly I fear you are right. can you think of anyway we might persuade the Beeb to, at least list Leonard amongst the nominees? Apart from Douglas Adams though is there anyone more suitable??

Posted Dec 19, 2001 by PeterM The Beeb are running a poll to find the top ten Greatest Britons at: www.bbc.co.uk/history/programmes/greatbritons/nominate.shtml Do vote for Leonard if you like what you've heard about him. He really did change the 20th century - for the better!
