| Posted Mar 18, 2004 by dw_insane A woman dies and goes into the afterlife. She meets two men in where the a passage divides. She is told by a sign that one of the men always lies and guards the gate to hell and that the other always tells the truth and guards the gate to heaven. Apart from this they are indistinguishable. She may ask either man only one question which she doesn't already know the answer to to determine which gate to go through to get to heaven. She successfully works out which gate is to heaven. What question does she ask?

Posted Sep 7, 2004 by Musashi Himura, the ronin returns, is happy to be back “Is one of you a liar?”
If the response is “No” – That’s your liar and his gate should be avoided like the plague.
If the response is “yes” – He is your truth teller and his should be the gate you enter.
