Posted Sep 20, 2000 by Dan I was under the impression that the name Disraeli Gears was a pun on derailleur gears on push bikes - rather than an anagram.
The music was quite good though. I had no idea they'd sold that many copies of Wheels Of Fire. Where did they all go to? Don't recall seeing more than the odd copy here and there in second-hand places - compared to endless Led Zep/Pink Floyd/Beatles etc etc. I presume it's just such a great album that no one ever sells their copy? -Dan-

Posted Sep 20, 2000 by Mike A (snowblind) Seeing as it costs an absolute packet on CD, I wish at least one of these million or so peeps would give their copy to a second-hander! Good condition too!
