What do constipated Mathematicians do?

Work it out with out a pencil.

Oops! I realized that sounded bad! You inspired me because you mentioned a Star Trek joke, not because you're personally disgusting ... erm

Oh, and btw, did I ever mention that I've been to Shea? Stadium, that is. I can't remember who The Mets were playing - it was about 10 years, and only my 2nd MLB game.... what am I saying - I've only ever been to three!

Ah, glorious Shea Stadium! Continually ranks dead last when they rate stadiums! Even the Mets players rate Shea Stadium as the worst! It's big, ugly and the color blue they chose to paint it in is turning progressively more purple every year! I love that place ... cry

Where are you from that you've only ever been to 3 games (or do you just hate baseball)?

I love baseball, but I grew up in London, and didn't get to see a game until I had an American girlfriend, and we went to visit her family in Detroit in 1985, the year after they won the World Series. I took in a game at Tiger Stadium with one of her friends who was a big fan (who was the famous Tigers pitcher at that time?). In 90 or 91 I went to Shea, and in 93 I saw Orel Hershiser pitch his comeback game at Dodger Stadium (I might have seen Darryl Strawberry playing for the home team in both NY and LA smiley ). Now I live in austin, TX. We have a Minor League Team not far from here which started up last year with a huge wedge of cash from Michael Dell. I want to get to a game this year - they were practically all sold out last season!

Being the National League snob that I am, I can't tell you who the Tiger's famous pitcher was in 85! winkeye That's the year I became a "born again" baseball fan! Haven't missed an opening day since!

Minor league baseball is so much fun! I've only ever been to a LI Ducks game (which is really lower than minor league, it's the Atlantic League), but it's a very different experience than major league baseball. A lot cozier, and they do a lot of wacky promotional things between innings. Go if you can! You'll love it (sometimes the playing is so bad, it's funny)!

Yeah, I imagine it being like in the movie Bull Durham, with the baseball clown and stuff (didn't that guy die recently?). yawn Oh I say, that was rude of me blush . I think it's time for me to go to zzz . Maybe we'll all speak again tomorrow or Sunday. Nighty night.
