Posted May 3, 2002 by Researcher 193810 A year ago I built a Beachcomber site at http://www.student.city.ac.uk/~as718 , never having read your excellent forum entries on Beachcomber and UK Satire. I would like to know if the builder of the previous site experienced any difficulty, as their link seems to have been removed at http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/F51366?thread=106319 , and an earlier discussion posting seems to have been removed entirely for breaking h2g2 rules. Their number was 171434, and I would be interested to know if they had anything to do with the material posted up under http://www.edwards.care4free.net/beachcom.htm Cheers Danny

Posted May 3, 2002 by Thought I should change my name back to 'Mina' to avoid confusion Hi Danny, The link in the Posting that you mention was removed, because at that time external links were only allowed in Guide entries, not conversations.
The hidden conversation was accidently removed - I've reinstated that now, so you can go back and read it if you want to.
I hope that helps.
