De Hems in December
Post: 1
Posted Aug 14, 2001 by littleChris
Quite by chance, we ended up here on St Nicholas Night last december (can't remember the exact date, and my diary doesn't mention it) on what turned out to be one of the most original nights I've ever spent in a London pub. I think we were the only non-dutch people in there, but by the end of an evening where we were entertained by 2 people dressed up as St Nic & Schwarze Peter (never did find out who that is) and endless singing of cheesy euro-pop in Dutch by the entire pub we were all (a) very drunk and (b) singing along with the best of them even though we couldn't speak the language (or, indeed, our own by that time smiley

Definitely recommended.
