Hi Ben,
Just read your Romantic Myth entry from the link in your post on the Historical Challenge thread and thought it was brilliant.
I wish my Mom could see it; she's giving my sis such a hard time at the moment because she feels my sis is setting herself up for a massive disappointment because her chosen partner is not (according to my Mom) The One.
My sis, on the other hand, knows that he's not a knight in shining armour but is, as you said, enjoying the ride without knowing where it will lead in the long term.
Great to know she's in such good company.
