What are the shameful 80's rock bands?

Hi!
I will hopefully be able to do more SBBs when I get some spare time to write things - I think I will be changing the format somewhat to a more general and brief look at what comics I've bought in the week. 
This spare time will hopefully become available when I've written a few more features for Ninthart.com - I currently have interviews with Jamie Rich, Chynna Clugston-Major and Gail Simone outstanding, as well as at least one other feature idea to do. 
As for the shameful 80s bands, a few examples would be the Cult (even though I don't think that they're shameful, personally  ), Guns 'n' Roses, Metallica, Motley Crue... Off the top of my head.

Ah, I love the Cult..... psychedelic hard rock over the top guitar screaming vocal magnificance!!
+ Metallica up to the Black album.
Didn't like the Crue or G & R.
I have only recently discovered Monster Magnet - kinda taken over where the Cult left off but heavier.
Sounds like you are a busy boy with your other stuff. I'll have to give it a visit.
