I just heard a vox pop on NPR from someone at the the Fort Hood memorial today wondering why, if Obama could find time to go and lobby for Chicago's Olympics bid in wherever it was, he couldn't have found time to go to Fort Hood on Friday.
Why does the media, even 'quality' media like the BBC and NPR, bother with people who can't see past the end of their own nose, enforcing the blinkered, can't-be-bothered-to-look-into-both-sides-of-the-story views of so many people, instead of finding a worthwhile, constructive opinion, and rejecting all others if no worthwhile opinion is forthcoming.

I'm assuming that Obama din't have to find time to go to lobby over the Olympics, it was in his schedule for months
Perhaps he is busy ATM trying to figure out how in the way he is 'Changing Politics in the country' he has lead the Democrats to be the party introducing legistation to limit abortion. Perhaps he can get them to go back to being the pro segregation party
