 Posted Jan 6, 2001 by Ausnahmsweise, wie üblich (Consistently inconsistent) Great articlce! I read somewhere about the difference between MPEG standards 1, 2 and 3 and MPEG 2's various audio levels. Is what we commonly call MP3 actually MPEG2, Audio level 2? Could you please explain this for us?
The Hufman compression cannot, I assume, be adaptive. Do they have a "library" of Hufman codes for different types of audio?
