Isn't curious that the face of the Moon shows the image of the very same Dumbo ( moving from left to right ) , looking from Earth ?

I was talking about the personage of Disney Studios , of the decade of 1940 . That elephant with face of Winston Churchill , learning to fly in a circus .

Ah, well, I know that elephant. But I don't understand the original question. The moon looks like an elephant? The moon shows us the same side all the time? What is it that you find curious? erm

SHOULDER ... Mare Tranquillitatis
WAIST ... Mare Serenitatis
SUPERIOR MEMBERS ... Mare Necteria
INFERIOR MEMBERS ... Mare Vaporum


On its shoulder landed : Apollo 17
On its tail landed : Apollo 15
On its chest landed : Apollo 11
On its feet : Apollo 12 / 14
On its elbow : Apollo 16
