Posted Aug 7, 2000 by Drool Frood the Second It may be worth adding that a lot of Mozarts work was composed out of necessity for money rather than for the love.I mean that a lot of the works are dedicated to a particular person. In fact he sometimes had to beg for a commission,he even resorted to teaching which he apparently hated doing, because most of the pupils were upper class women with no real talent for music. One other point the grey cloaked figure, well its never beenproven although it appeared as a key theme in the film Amadeus. It is rumoured that this was Saliari.Still we'll never know will we? Good article Mozart is an absolute idol for me and I particularly like playing his work. Nice one.
