Posted Nov 11, 2009 by kea Hey all,
I've had the RSS feed for the latest Announcement thread turn up 8 times in the last day. Haven't figured out a pattern to them but I've got the dates and times if that's helpful.
btw, the title link in the feed goes to http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/F77636?thread=7070303&latest=1#p88360449 (which is the latest post not the first one)
I'm using the built-in reader in Safari 4.0.3

Excellent coverage on the blog "Box Turtle Bulletin" I think the feed is updated every time the thread is posted in. This isn't usually a problem for Announcements threads, as they usually have only one post, but this one's been left open.
Try subscribing to the Askh2g2 forum and you'll see.

Ok, so not a bug then. It's a bit strange though. It's not updating everytime someone posts, so I'm not sure what the pattern is. Usually with something like a blog I would RSS sub to the post and comments separately.
