I remember visiting Eyam on a school trip many many moons ago. We were staying at a place called Eastwood Grange in Ashover, and it was one of the nicest times of my life.
We had done a project about the plague and the fire of London, so we were all totally awed to be in Eyam on that hot summers day, even though we must only have been about 8 or 9 years old.
It truly is a beautiful place, thank you for making me remember it.
