we're back to normal time. for once this happened right on time, so to speak, i really needed that extra hour of sleep - and was able to get it too 
usually i wake up every day at 5am - force of habit
now for some

My mother in law reset her bedside clock before she went to bed on Saturday night.
Sunday morning she woke up at 6.30am. She went down, put a load into the washing machine, then made a cup of tea for her and her husband, and took it upstairs.
As she walked in with them, he looked at *his* bedside clock, and asked her "What the hell are you doing, it's 4.45!!"
She'd put her clock *forward* an hour!!

I emerged at 10am. Hubby said 'The clocks only went back ONE hour, not half a day!'

Too slow. The time delay caused by the switch to GMT means you hit the guy who sat down after me. I told him it was your fault.

Hi Maria,
What a wonderful link you have given to all those galaxies. thank you so much. I love the sky but know very little about the galaxies. the only one I knew in africa was the southern Cross which is rather difficult to see here. Here I do not even know where to look for the galaxies!!
