Does anyone know whether there are any plans to re-release the series on DVD? I considered getting the video box sets, but the quality of the production really merits DVD...
(and Mark Snow deserves a mention; I don't think the show would have anywhere near the same atmosphere without his music)

Series 1 has already been released on DVD in America. There are plans to release all the series on DVD in the near future - in America.
A DVD release of series one has been planned for release in the UK in July, but so far there has been no news of a release date. However, for some reason the video box set of series one has been re-released, and can be found in most shops stocking videos.
Ask the editor about mentioning Mark Snow - I'm not sure if I can change this entry once it has been taken out of my hands.
