The chip shop meat pie, just as described. I personally find that the Hollands brand of pies to be the best, but you can only seem to get them round Manchester

Yeah, Holland's pies are definitely the best - their cheese and onion is good too if you're a veggy.
I moved from Oldham to Sheffield about 10 years ago, only 40 miles away but you can't get Hollands here at all. It's all the unfortunately name 'Pukka' pies round Sheffield which do the job at a pinch but are Vauxhall Conference to Holland's Champions League.
