nice entry about the volcano island lanzarote. but with its 795 sqkm there are three larger canary islands: tenerife 2.053 sqkm, fuerteventura 1.731 sqkm and gran canaria 1.532 sqkm. worth a visit is also the canary island i live on, la palma, which is not only a good place for scuba diving, there«s a lot of other exciting things too. if anybody wood like to contact me: oedi. jonitz@terra.es.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree with Palmero. I've been lucky enough to travel across all the Canary islands and La Palma is not only tiny but has the least activities of the lot. We have just come back from an amazing diving holiday in Lanzarote with a specialist company called Active Adventures. They were recommended by a friend and I can safely say my diving improved more in the last week than it has in the last 3 years. I would happily recommend them to anybody wanted to try scuba diving or improve on what they already know.
