Wittering on about nothing

Here I go.

The rain woke me up last night! Then I dreamt about dog training (think the new course might be on my mind a lot). Then I couldn't find my car in the car park, and I had to ring my mum to ask her what car I'd brought to help me look for it (that was part of the dream, if that's not clear).

Then the wind woke me up, and I lay awake for ages being glad I didn't have to lay awake for ages worrying that the fences would blow down (I've had them replaced).

Then I must have gone back to sleep because Fred woke me up so I got up. I'm a bit fed up with being stiff in the mornings, I can barely straighten up to hobble down the stairs! What will I be like in another 10 years?

I must feed the birds this morning. And have a shower. And go and get my swine flu jab. And then I can come home and get on with some paperwork. And maybe some xboxing, as a reward if I get plenty of work done.

I hope the excitment hasn't made anyone reading wet themselves.

laugh Yes there have been lots of warnings down this end anyway. biggrin Dover is apparently closed! I've stopped watching the news now, so haven't heard anything for a while - last I heard wind was 56mph at Heathrow.

I was offered the jab as I'm asthmatic. I usually ignore the normal flu jabs, but the Beeb scared me with all the talk of deaths. The nurse was really nice and said to not touch my face (which shouldn't be done anyway) and to make sure I wash my hands as soon as I got home if I'd been around people.

Being around dogs I wash my hands loads anyway, just got to beat J up to wash his too, so he doesn't bring it in and infect me.

Fred used to keep my feet warm, but he's tethered to the bed to stop him crapping overnight (he'd got into the habit when stressed due to me boarding other dogs), so he's at the top end. He keeps my back warm instead!

laugh My Father's, well his partners dog, apparently starts off at the bottom of the bed (My Father likes it when she positions herself near his knee as he says it helps his arthritus), snork but usueally she moves up the bed so by the morning she's laying with her head on the pillow next to them laugh doh Cats just arn't very good to help keep you warm... they move too much and tend to just claw you when they feel like it bruised doh
