Posted Jun 21, 2001 by Tempest A Will-o-the-wisp is a spirit that haunts graveyards and marshes, trying to entice people to their death, or, more scientificaly, glowing methane gas emited by decomposing bodies and rotting plant matter in marshes. Hence the idea that a will-o-the-wisp indicated a vampire's tomb or grave.

Posted Mar 6, 2002 by KerrAvon - Regret is a part of life. But keep it a small part. Specifically, it is the spirit of a baby that dies before it has been baptised, or at least so local legend has it.
