Posted Mar 7, 2000 by Maita I have found that, as soon as you get the furniture in, the house in some kind of order, and the kids settled in school, the best thing to do is to use your time to explore the new place with an eye for what interests you. After all you are the one who will have to develop an enthusiasm for the place so the whole family won't bog down with the homesickness blues (which will happen anyway). So get your personal energy up, find some things to like (God knows these days you don't much like the sod who made you all come there to begin with) and perhaps enroll in a class of your interest, so you can start having a life that's not a response to everyone's needs.
