Every Christmas my family and I watch a taped version of A Christmas Carol with George C Scott. He is wonderful in that role and delivers the brilliant lines extremely well. He was perfectly casted for that role. Watching A Christmas Carol is something I look forward to every holiday season.

I found it odd, the coincidence that we lost Stanley Kubrick and Madeline Kahn in the same year. They were all bright lights and each of them had worked with George C. Scott.I once worked with a bit part actor who had been on one of Scott's many film projects. He let it be known that George C. was a cantankerous genius with a love for the bubbly. No actor alive today could ever fill his immense shoes.
