Many years ago, when I was young and charming (down, WSG, down I say), walnut whips used to have half a walnut on top, and a further half on the thick basal layer of chocolate. I may have grown older, larger and (insert epithet of choice), but I'm certain someone has now abstracted that lower half-walnut - this is NOT an artifact.
