if an assassin tries to kill you.... >>

A variation

I've heard of a way of playing Assassins with all the same rules, except that you make a "kill" by tricking someone into doing something (exactly what is assigned to you by the umpire). The friend who told me about this had to get his target to say "Rule Brittania!" whilst she was standing beside the DJ. This game of Assassins was being used as a "getting to know you" game over the weekend at the beginning of a college year. Unfortunately the effect it had was to make everyone so paranoid that nobody would admit their real name in case they were killed. So much for getting to know people.erm

But it might be something to try if you're in an environment where even cardboard knives and water pistols might cause trouble, and you already know people's names. winkeye
