I just noticed this. I can't find one single link whatsoever from the main BBC-site to h2g2. Are they advertising h2g2's existence at all

Only when we make it into the 'top 10 page hits' list, unfortunately.
Still, we're doing that more and more often, so the word's getting about somehow!

I think that the smaller this community is, the better (to, of course, a certain degree)--after all, there's only a finite number of witty, funny, intelligent people about, and the less of the antisocial child molesting  ers we get on the site the better. Just like any community, really.
